Hi I know this is probably a Id drunk very stupid question to my mind at rest! Ive just got engaged and have a beautiful diamond Ring Solitaire platinum band and go on holiday (vacation-beach type) and I'm worried that the use of sunscreen, oil / salt water pool, so the ring can go funny! (it loses its brightness, etc!) I know Platinum is one of the strongest metals and theres no way I will continue to take it on and off (more likely to lose!) so that you really want is confirmation that type of metal can not be harmed!
