Beautiful Sterling Silver
Beautiful Sterling Silver

We'll get married, and each has children. Also $ 175 to spend on a wedding gift for our children?
My friend and I are going get married soon. Each has children from previous marriages. I wanted to get something good for our children, who are 15, 10 and 8. I found these chains sterling silver with beautiful interlocking rings at Tiffany's, and would be symbolic and reflective thinking to donate a piece jewelry with a ring on the ground to symbolize the union of our two families. We could give them just before the ceremony or immediately afterwards. My daughter would get One of the girl with the interlocking rings, and children receive a heavy chain with a ring hanging from her male. We spend about $ 35K for marriage not counting the honeymoon, but my friend thinks $ 175 is a lot of money to spend on a gift for children. He also believes that the symbolism is too. Am I mad, or is a little careful with the money?
I think his intentions are good, and if you tell me who had three daughters and they were a little older, I agree with you it is a nice feeling and would like your gift and wear it often. However, since two of them are male, and I'm not sure what the 8 and 10, but I can not imagine a child of any age to wear chains. My problem is not necessarily the amount of the gift, but if the gift of self, even be appreciated. And I think if one of their children who end up giving and losing (as children often do) their feelings will be affected, because they are regarded as not being respected and that includes the union of two families. Given the amount they spend their marriage (and no one has the right to judge you for that, the cost of marriage in average about 28000 USA and who are clearly not a couple in their 20s starts just financially, and I imagine they have already set up college funds for their children ... but I digress) I do not think that the amount for each child is too extravagant, but I look around for something else or taking a family as someone who suggested that really allow the two families to unite in one. If only a weekend of fun, now that school is likely to be very popular by all and help start the construction of memories, as the new family. Then when you return, to develop a digital frame with pictures of all that together and have a central part of your home. Good luck to you and your family!
