Can not decide on wedding flowers.?
I want it simple, but not as calla lilies. I love wildflowers, but the sunflowers. My colors are dark blue (midnight / sapphire) and white. I think adding some yellow accents, but can not decide. My wedding is in May and is why I'm so overwhelmed by all the flowers available. I thought maybe white carnations, daisies, babies breath and blue roses, but I do not know if it's too luxurious for what I want. Any suggestions would be greately appriciated.
Wow. Sometimes I feel like the only person on earth who does not like calla lilies. It's nice to know someone over! There are some good ideas for flowers. Other flowers in May consider are: bachelor buttons (ironic name, I know, but they are a beautiful deep blue and wildflowers near her roses in blue), Heather (which comes in purple or white), snapdragon (which come in a yellow and a positive Rainbow Lucious soft pastel colors), Forget Me Nots (Nice, soft blue with yellow center), or larkspur (available in blue, purple, pink, white). I love the idea to stick mainly with wildflowers instead of the same type of flowers, it brings everyone. And most importantly, have fun putting the flowers together. Choose the flowers you like and do not let anyone convince you of the calla lily, if not wanted.
