Diamond or fiasco? Ring on my finger ..?
My boyfriend has been mentioned here and there, jokingly (I think) that I marry or just going to have to get married ... say things like that. Yesterday evening, wine and dinner, he shared his fear that I go out with him and he doens't know what I'd do without me. Then he asks me if I want a ring on my finger, I do not want to marry? He stroked my neck and kiss him and say yes. He says, why not a promise ring, which should not marry that to be hired two or three years. So I am not sure that their motivations are or what you want. I hope you think of the idea that we're married one day ... What do you think?
Looks like they are "feeling the land "and trying to assess their views on where the relationship goes. Do not tell me your age or how long you've spent together, but here are my thoughts on the promise rings. I'm 26 and I do not want a promise ring. I think when you're old enough and mature enough, should be able to pass data without compromise some type of "Promise." For me, the promise is a commitment. But if you're young, then a promise ring is well until you are mature enough to really start thinking about getting married. So to a certain age, a ring promise, it is a good start. The Promise Ring recent work was when I was 15, so nothing to say. Thus, it is what you feel. If you think this is really the guy for you, let me begin by saying something like "All this talk about marriage is something that makes me mad. I am not sure what you want. Do you think we could get married in the future? "If he says yes, then continue with" I'd be very happy. However, I prefer actually propose to me, and then start planning the wedding instead of getting a ring of promise and hope for a few years. Why not wait until you're ready, then go from there. "Obviously, you can change all the words according to their own situation, but that's what I say. Good luck!
