Dark Spot on my diamond ring?
Hi just a question of curiosity. My boyfriend invited me over 2 years with the ring marriage of his mother. Since call FLEC have noticed a little dark sentry in the same diamond. There seems to be on the cutting edges of the diamond, but the center stone. Not is unclear, but only a very small fringe (about the size of a piece of gel), which was actually hear me! Someone Has he any idea what ????:) could only say that I am not interested because of the curiosity value of the ring is bare. I think it very special for me by my mother a ring of the future!
From the description you provided, it is very likely an "Inclusion". Integration may be a foreign material (like any other precious stones), air bubbles, or even small cracks or holes inside the diamond. Most diamonds have inclusions. Given that each 1-carat diamond is composed of billions of atoms carbon, it is logical that something else, something "weird" was involved in the carbon atoms, while the diamond is formed. In general, most people do not like inclusions by blocking a portion of light that could be found to create a better one. But the inclusions have a significant side positive, too: it makes it easier to identify your diamond, if they ever cleaning cycle and are concerned that the jewelry trade can stone (or worse, if the ring was stolen). He also notes, the inclusions become a focus - as you mentioned sound like Flek brightness. That sounds very nice!
