Garnet Silver Ring
Garnet Silver Ring

Is it acceptable to have a red stone for an engagement ring, and use the engagement ring and even marriage?
I hate diamonds, everyone uses them, and I do not like them because they are boring. I always wanted just a simple set of garnets silver or white gold instead of a diamond of a multiple Fantasy yellow gold than others. I know what I want to be in bad taste or cheap then? Here a set with a bunch of pictures of ring style I like: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=9538533 Moreover, it is possible to use the Ring Engagement and marriage? I do not see the point of buying me a ring face might be a year before I got married and put on a new ring different expensive, but I want a ring with a stone. And how do they work for marriage if I was? Not that I'm getting married soon, these are just random thoughts a girl, lol.
The diamonds are not "traditional" stone for the engagement ring. This does not even become popular until 1880s. You can use any type of device and any type of stone you want. Personally, I hate diamonds, because of all the issues surrounding them. They are not so rare, but because people are able to control prices, often after the use of labor slave to mine. It's horrible. You do not get a second wedding ring, either. I have an amethyst ring that would look really weird with another ring. It is my commitment to partnership and marriage. During the marriage, my husband and I exchanged rings. I took out mine use during the ceremony. It was "strange" at all, as someone suggested. There is only one ring at the ceremony included, then how I could be funny? The fact is that you can do what you want. Congratulations have a spirit and not be a sheep.
