What is a safe and effective way to clean my ring rhodium coated?
I have a silver ring covered with rhodium. Or money, instead. Anyway, I do not know much about it and my ring is absolutely disgusting. It is brown and has 12 CZS as well, and yet brighter. What should I do about cleaning? I fear it may get your premade jewelry cleaner, if what you suggest I do without leaving home? I've heard of using MOP and brightness or Mr. Clean or something, but I fear it would harm the finish of the ring. Everything seems not much for me. What do you think?
Rhodium is used most often for gold instead of white coat of silver. Note the reference to the rhodium in the next clip. "Cleaning White Gold Jewelry One of the frequently asked questions is how to clean white gold. When you sell the gold white is always rhodium. Rhodium is a hard, durable, silvery white metal that can be polished to a high brightness. This gives white gold, which is actually a very yellow pale, with a very white light in the window and on your finger. This appearance will last long white varies wear. In earrings can last a lifetime. A ring at the door of the Rhodium will start with a lot of friction. It generally starts (cane to the ring around your finger) of "yellow". It is rhodium. As you continue to wear the ring, all exposed edges and corners will start "yellow" as well. The easy solution and less expensive for this problem is to bring to your local jeweler or have the new DiamondIdeals rhodium ring. The cost is minimal. This is a temporary solution and will be repeated as often as this new layer disappears. A more permanent solution would consider re-mount the stones in a ring alloy of platinum or palladium. "Toothpaste is used to clean the ring. Buff with a dry cloth. If the money is exposed and colorful, which takes you through one days to clean it, or you can use the silver polish. As above, a refreshing bath in cheap jewelry.
