First, let me say that I <3 yellow gold. I think that is classic and elegant. But I understand what you say, everything now is in white gold or platinum. I'm sure you can get re-housed in a gold or the creation of new white-platinum just taken to a jeweler you trust. Although I would say two things: 1. my friend has a band of platinum and is heavier than the cursed ring always Summer 2. I know that white gold and platinum are the new ... but if in a few years, the yield yellow gold, then you want yellow gold again ... Furthermore it not pleasant to be different sometimes??
