grandmother rings
grandmother rings

I just received a ring from my grandmother inside that says "Sterling Lind?
"Sterling LIND" There is also a symbol small diamond between the words, someone knows of this stamp? Or something?
This research was fun! I found a small step in a book entitled "The Jewelers Circular" dated 1899, in the Google Book says: "Thomas W. Lind, author of adjustments and reductions ..." http://books.google.com/books?id=HXQoAAAAYAAJ&pg=PT151&lpg=PT151&dq =% 22W +% 22 + vintage + lind Jewelry & source = web & ots = DY0T9I3rru & Sig = HRV-hwAcwVhOYik5BxSYeReuEY8 & hl = en & ei = 8BSbScLXF83dtgeD6s2pCw & sa = X & oi = book_result & resnum = 9 & ct = result This leads me to believe that their "values and cutting" the period of time used for making rings and other jewelry and that is what you may have. I also saw many "jewels Lind 'in online sales on ebay and such, but it is the only direct reference I've found to date can be attributed to this manufacturer. I'll have more. . . Ah, Thomas Lind was the successor of Alexander Lind also linked with a book on Google. We hope these: http://books.google.com/books?id=XCEaAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA46&lpg=PA46&dq = 22thomas% + W. +% 22 + Jewelry & Lind source = web & ots = qdfagVngje & sig = Jd09LHddsAObVwTY0-zNcajhYjc & hl = en & ei = ChabSc_7KePetgeby5ibCw & sa = X & oi = & book_result resnum = 1 & ct = result
