LENS / LENS FILTER / Ring Adapter problem ... pls help!?
Hello everyone! ok then ... I have the Nikon 55-200mm VR 18-55mm lens VR. I HOYA 55mm filters. Fixing custom filters on the lens! I bought an adapter ring ... Step Down. 55mm-52mm. Even used to do! I needed a. .. 52mm-55mm Step Up, instead? Please help!
On the site of two lenses Nikon use a filter diameter of 52mm. Although you can use a 52mm to 55mm Step-Up Adapter, probably because Vignette (dark corners on the images) at the end of 18 mm Objective 18-55mm. These two objectives must always have a UV / Haze Filter (52mm) fitted to protect the front element. I always suggest a "fine" or lens "slim" filter assembly for 18-55mm to avoid vignetting.
