Where can I buy cheap, natural rocks and minerals?
I just returned from a part of the Tucson Gem and series was a bit disappointed by the lack of natural resources, unprocessed minerals and rocks. I am of course in geology at the University and we always have few here in our laboratories the samples are quite difficult. I want to buy more raw mineral economics. I am particularly interested in basic minerals (calcite, quartz, corundum) and stone (granite, feldspar, and maybe some tips igneous). Where can I buy small specimens, cheap imperfect?
