what does this stamp inside my ring mean?
I got a ring from my grandmother for graduation. She says it very old. It's a weird arrowhead sort of shape and has on main diamond accented by smaller diamonds and sapphires but I don't know what it's made of it says only 18 or 81 on the inside. Any suggestions????
Take it to a jewellers. They can tell what its made from too.
The numbers can mean lots of things. But hallmarks are complicated, and it depends where the ring was stamped as to what it means..
But its quite likely it means 18 carat gold.
