Ring Des Nibelungen

Introduction to classical music?
I'm looking to add a more substantial amount of classical to my library. The problem is, I don't really know where to begin. Here are a few composers I've had some interest in. If you could direct me to their best works (in album form), as well as any other recommendations you may have, I would greatly appreciate it.
Antonio Vivaldi
Béla Bartók
Claude Debussey
Franz Liszt
Frédéric Chopin
Johann Pachelbel (I already have the Canon.)
Johann Sebastian Bach
Johannes Brahms
Joseph Haydn
Ludwig van Beethoven
Richard Wagner (I have Der Ring des Nibelungen.)
Sergei Rachmaninoff
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Tammee, yeah I'm aware that I picked from a variety of periods. I just used 'classical' as an all-encompassing term, where I probably should have used 'art music' instead. My bad.
I'll recommend a few works from four of my favourite composers:
Jean Sibelius : Symphonies No. 1 - 7
Violin Concerto
Andante Festivo
Tapiola
Karelia Suite, Op.11
Lemminkäinen Suite (Four Legends from the Kalevala, Op. 22)
Gustav Mahler : Symphonies No.1, 2, 3, 6 and 9
'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth)
Ludwig van Beethoven : Symphonies No.3 through to 9
String Quartets No.7 through to 16
Piano Concertos No.3, 4 and 5
Piano Trio No.7 in B flat major (known as the 'Archduke')
Piano Sonatas No. 4, 8, 14, 17, 23 and the final V # 28 through to 32
Anton Bruckner : Symphonies No. 5, 8 and 9
Te Deum
Mass No.3 in F minor
Looking at a couple of the others you reference -
For Bela Bartok check out his : Concerto for Orchestra
Six String Quartets
Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta
Violin Concerto No.2
and for Frederic Chopin : Twenty One Nocturnes
Four Ballades
Fantaisie-Impromptu in C-sharp minor
Piano Sonata No.3 in B minor
