Can I use a Nikon SB-29s ring flash on a D90?
Up to what diameter lens can be used with this SB-29s if it can be used? 62mm? 67mm? 72mm?
Just curious as I am in the market to buy a ring flash for macro and some close distance portrait work. If not, what (cost effective) ring-type flash would you recommend that is not hundreds of dollars!
According to the Nikon web site under camera/flash compatibility, the SB-29s can be used on the D90 in Manual, Rear Curtain.

According to the XOTOPRO web site the unit is fully compatible with your Nikon's i-TTL flash metering.
