Is a man-locket too sappy a gift for a boyfriend of 2+ years?
So my boyfriend is graduating this year and is leaving for college in August. Since I'm a year younger I'll be finishing my senior year of high school during his freshman year at college. Since we'll be separated for almost an entire year i was wondering what kind of gift I could give him that he could keep close. He's bought me a ring last christmas which I wear every day to remind me of him when he's far away but i feel I should give him something just as special that he can see every day when he's off doing college-things. I've saved away about $200 so any ideas would be helpful.
I don't believe he's very animate about man-jewelry
but do you think a masculine locket is too much?

If he a a great guy he will appreciate a locket as a good way to remember/think about you, I think its cute! If you want to go with something more mainstream perhaps a watch! So he can watch the time as it passes when you are apart! Hope it helps!
