In 2009, do you see Ring of Honor taking Total Nonstop Action's place as the #2 wrestling promotion in the US?
Both companies are growing at a great rate, but while ROH gains new fans every day, TNA's ratings have basically been the same since 2005.
So, do you see Ring of Honor taking the #2 spot next year?
I think the best thing for ROH is to keep doing things exactly the way they always have. That means slowly growing a bigger fanbase and putting on great shows. TNA does suck, and I think it's trying to be competition to WWE, when it really has no chance of being anywhere near WWE.
In my opinion, ROH is the number 1 promotion, since it is purely a wrestling promotion, and not a giant corporation.
ROH will continue growing. A fine example is that they switched rooms in the Manhattan Center to run shows in the much bigger Hammerstein ballroom. ROH is going to grow in the next year, and TNA will stay stagnant, so ROH could become even more of a force in pro wrestling.
