Disk scratches on Time Splitters Future Perfect for PS2?
My xbox 360 got the red ring of death the other day and now i'm using my PS2. The trouble is that the one PS2 game I have has a bunch of scratches on it. I did the banana thing, i used toothpaste, i even used this deep scratch remover stuff and to be honest it almost looks brand new. Still, the game doesn't work and there are only tiny scratches on it now. If you can, could someone please tell me what I can do to get this game working.
IF the original scratches got through the surface layer into the data layer you are out of luck.
OR your PS2 drive might need cleaning; just like any other disk player, they get dirty.
You MIGHT check it on a PC to verify that it is playable. (there are several free programs for this available) IF it IS playable, try making a copy. Sometimes this will work.
