Ring Slings for babies
can i travel in a plane with my baby wrapped in a sling/wrap/baby carry?

I'm taking a vacation with my 7 moth old and i was wondering if is ok for me to take her in a mei tai or a Ring Sling.

I heard somewhere that u CAN'T, but I dont understand why?

I would Think that is safer if the baby is our arms wraped around instead that just in my arms all lose. In case something happens he will end up flying around.
also how much more money i would have to pay if i want to take the baby car sit with my luggage?
I dont want to take the car sit in the plane because I would have to pay for another sit. I just wanted to take it with me for when I arive to my destination.

Yes! I just did it last week. I had to take her out of the sling to go through security but it was the greatest thing once we were on the plane. She slept the whole time and I even got up and used the restroom with her in the sling and she didn't make a peep.
