Is Ringside.com a good sight to buy from?

Im looking to get some boxing gloves and a couple of head protectors. If you could mention some of the better gloves and head gear Id greatly appreciate it.

But I dont want to get complete crap. I want to get some pretty good equipment, and Im not sure where to go or what to get.

Also I was looking at ringside.com at the gelshock handwraps for $10 are they any good?

Ringside.com is a great site, they have high quality in gloves such as Reyes. Shoes from ADIDAS. They have some really good things, but on the other hand, they sell some pretty cheap stuff too. Ringside brand gloves are complete garbage.

If you're looking for the Cadillac of boxing equipment go to Grant.com. Grants boxing glove are top notch, maybe even a little better than Reyes, both are made with the highest quality head leather, both are punchers gloves and both are handmade in Mexico. These are truly great, great gloves.

There is Winning USA. These gloves are a bit expensive, but are great if you have "Bad Hands" their gloves have extra padding in the knuckle area and seem to a favorite of all the top pros while preparing for a fight.

Stay away from the Gel Wraps, they're garbage. The cotton hand wraps have been around for over 75 years. People are always trying to make things easier and faster. Wrap your hands properly with the cotton wraps and some athletic tape and you'll never have problems.
