The inside of my engagement ring says 14K Sn. Does that mean it really is money?

The company indicates the jewelry is made of solid gold 14 K, but the bottom of my ring changed color and had less than a year. If it was solid gold 14 K, I say I would not change color. It seems like a scam to me!

Gold goes well ... But gold plated, and the lining is eroded. It seems that the gold layer on the material of tin (Sn). I regret to say this, but it seems you may have been ripped-off ... depends on how you paid for it.
