Girl's advice on gift jewelry?

there's this girl, and by now you've already probably guessed i like her... She's been very depressed lately due to broken hearts, but we started talking and recently she's becoming her old self again, we've gotten pretty close, she knows i have liked her for a long time and she said she's starting to fall for me.

I have a ring made in a high school jewelry class. the ring is a band-aid. It's sterling silver, and without being too modest...it's perfect. All polished and shiny, perfectly smooth, looks just like a tiny silver band aid in ring form... I plan on giving this to her and saying something like "I made you a band-aid to help heal your broken heart" or something cheesey like that... but my problem is that I don't know what finger is appropriate to put this on.

what hand, what finger to put it on? that is my question.
hahaha good point... but what would the ideal finger be?

probably the pointer finger. she will end up moving it to the finger that it fits on anyway, might as well go for the most common finger
