Why not think my boyfriend does not want an engagement Ring Diamond?
We've known for over 2 years. and decided to take our relationship to the next level and get married. We looked at rings and I almost fell over how much they cost. I found an ideal site for zircon engagement rings made of precious metal (white gold and platnium). I love them and he said he would be embarressed if someone discovered that the ring is not real. I think we should put the money to buy a house. Am I crazy for not wanting a real diamond?
Youre not that many women do not want to fool more than one engagement ring diamond (just look at all the responses here that say its Smart!). Many women from other gemstones in place (I personally A PURE .5 carat aquamarine, their birthstone, garnet with 2 very small chips each side, my birthstone .... we designed together and it was much cheaper than diamond and I liked more) Other women decided do not engagement rings in its entirety (and not always because of cost, sometimes simply because the wedding ring is enough to taste) Do not let others know what you have to take .... that his hand is that it will carry and you will wear for the rest of his life. Tell him if you do you do not use it, you want to use your ring wouldnt you? Good Luck
